My Favorite Spaces in the New Vrbo Building

The first wave of employees moved into our new Austin-based D11 campus last month and it’s very exciting to see this space come to life after years of planning and developing. Now that we’re settled in, I’ve discovered a few favorite spots around the office that I’m excited to share with you. From open collaboration spaces to secluded nooks, D11 has a little bit of everything our team needs to do their best work and help people travel better together. – John Kim, Vrbo President

Stop and collaborate

You’ll typically find employees having impromptu meetings or colleagues conducting daily stand-ups. The leadership team uses the collaboration tables in our area for a quick sync in the morning before getting the day started.

Step into the jungle

The two-story living plant installation is the focal point of the eighth floor entry. The natural light in this area is energizing and it’s the perfect spot for an afternoon break. It also makes for a great Instagram photo looking down from the 9th floor.

Work with a view

I like to step outside for a breath of fresh air during the day to reset. The view is incredible, you can see most of North Austin and you can even wave to some of our tech neighbors around the Domain.

Room for all

You can kick up your feet and get work done just about anywhere at D11. The stadium seating is one of my favorite things about the new campus because it’s a great meeting point and gives us the opportunity to say hi to colleagues throughout the day.
