Director - Order to Cash and Treasury

As a key member of The Finance transformation team, the Order to Cash and TreasuryLeadwill be the steward of the global capability to advance process efficiencies across the end-to-end value chain (i.e., order fulfillment (Point of sale), invoicing, payment processing, reporting, analysis, and associated master data). Provide process leadership to move us to a “capability-driven” model using an ongoing roadmap that prioritizes/promotes transformation, innovation, best practices, efficient solutions, and thought leadership.

What you'll do

  • Leads complex process design, re-design, and large, complex projects from beginning to end as Order to Cash global process owner. Order to Cash scope includes revenue accounting/ billing, collections, revenue recognition, and analysis across functions ( B2C, B2B, Partner Reconciliations, Revenue models)
  • Provide thought leadership to drive end-to-end Revenue accounting, accounts receivable initiatives, and enhancements.
  • The ability to capture the end-to-end process and determine areas of improvement, automation, and refinement to allow for growth and scaling.
  • Proactively coordinate with other teams to ensure that the business's requirements are adequately met and accounting is accurate. Revenue Operations, Legal, Settlement Controls, Product, Sales, FP&A, Tax, Reporting.
  • Full understanding of O2C functionality and processes, including Partner/Customer Master Data, Credit, Billing/Invoicing, Revenue Recognition, Collections, Cash Application, Dispute Management, Sales Adjustments, and Cash & Revenue Forecasting
  • Assist with the design and operation of OTC and revenue accounting controls and SOX 404 compliance activities.
  • Excellent understanding of technologies used inside and outside of Expedia to implement such processes in the B2C, B2B, and other business models (Advertisement Revenue)
  • Experience with large-scale payments industry and multisided platform experience preferred (Pay in, Payout and settlement, Payment processor, and multiple payment methods)
  • User Acceptance Testing UAT: Prepare and execute UAT scripts to validate that the ERP system meets business requirements. Document and report UAT results, including issues and resolutions.
  • Collaborates with business process experts across divisions, functions, and geographies to deliver harmonized business processes aligned to the global application roadmap with a bias towards standardized functionality.
  • Familiarity with Treasury management system preferred

Who you are

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a business-related field of study, including business, finance, accounting, economics, computer science, data analytics, math, data science, or similar areas of study.
  • 10+ years of O2C consulting experience at a large consulting firm or in the industry with job experience executing O2C activities (e.g., as a Global Process Owner for O2C)
  • 8-10+ years of Oracle ERP (EBS or Cloud) implementation experience
  • Multi-sided platform/Online Travel Agency (OTA) or Similar industry experience preferred
  • Effective organizational skills and ability to effectively manage multiple and competing priorities.
  • Strong leadership skills and executive presence
  • Strong project management experience, including work plan creation and updates, milestone tracking, risk management, status updates, change management, and communications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to convey complex business concepts to executive audiences.
  • Team-oriented approach

The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $221,000.00 to $309,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $353,500.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
